Project brief
Two levels patio with Pergola.
Helen and Jo wanted a new design that was manageable and to cover a large area
After some discussion with them we came up with a quirky design with rasied sleeper beds for planting, plenty of drainage as the soil was heavy clay. Together with a bespoke pergola learn-to and with sleeper beds.

This project was to be in 2 parts with the send turfing and decking to follow at a later date tbc.
This first part was to use Raj blend indian sandstone mixed paving, Plenty of type 1 subbase was used due to the clay soil and the levels needed.
We used drainage pipes under ground to cope if any hard rainfall happened. An large L shape patio was designed with a lean-to pergola against the garage which was place for the suntrap.

Jo and Helen are very happy with the finished part 1 of the project
Materials Used: Sandstone Blend, Sleepers, Type one subbase, , Bespoke hand made Pergola,brindle edging.
