Project brief

We were tasked with a complete renovation of this customers garden.

This new build on Kite View Watlington needed a complete redesign. Ann asked us to design a flat surface for her Mother to get around easy taking into account the vast slop away from the house too.

After some discussion with Ann we came up with a quirky design with rasied sleeper beds for planting, plenty of drainage as the soil was heavy clay. Together with a bespoke Rustic arch to give a slight country feel together with sleeper beds.

We transformed the garden using Sandstone Paving with part curved  paving to give the effect of wrap around path. Building a rustic bespoke arch way and wrap around sleeper beds around the back wall.

Drainage was a large issue so alot of subbase type 1 was brought in and Granit Dust used under where the new astro turf would be. The astro turf  was luxury 5m wide all one piece and fitted well. Easy to maintain and sturdy under foot topped off with brindle edging.

Project summary…

This Project took some planing with the design and slopping garden in 2 directions. We finished on schedule and Ann and her family are very happy.

Materials Used:  Sandstone Blend, Sleepers, Type one subbase, Ganro Dust, Luxury Astro turf. 20mm gravel, Bespoke hand made Rustic archway,brindle edging.
